Meet Eli Blume

Executive Functioning Mentor
Grades 6-12

Eli brings creativity, empathy, and grounded support to his work with students. Having lived in the Rocky Mountains for more than 20 years, Eli has developed a deep passion for music and movement, expressing his creative energy through activities such as playing the piano and guitar, skiing, snowboarding, and skateboarding. These experiences shape his ability to connect with students whose strengths may not always align with traditional classroom expectations.

Currently pursuing a degree in social work, Eli approaches mentoring through relationship-building, emotional awareness, and a strengths-based mindset.

He supports students in developing essential executive functioning skills by fostering confidence and avoiding pressure-based learning. Eli understands the importance of meeting students where they are.

Having navigated his own ADHD and neurodivergent challenges, Eli is especially passionate about supporting students who have experienced adversity or who have begun to doubt their abilities.

He understands that learning struggles do not always reflect a lack of effort or intelligence. Instead, they often emerge when students try to navigate systems that do not reflect how they learn best. With patience and encouragement, Eli is a dedicated listener who helps students identify barriers, create systems that support their unique learning styles, and practice skills in manageable, achievable steps.

As a positive and relatable coach, he helps students trust in themselves and build a foundation for meaningful and lasting growth.

Eli currently works as a coach at Untapped Learning, where he supports neurodivergent students in developing self-awareness, executive functioning skills, and confidence in their ability to succeed both academically and personally. His work is guided by the belief that when students feel understood and empowered, they are far more likely to thrive.
